About
Welcome, my name is Jonathan Haynes, and while I like to think of my self as a true Renaissance man or Polymath; the truth is I probably still have a long way to go before I could be considered a true Renaissance man.
So, for now I am content to just dabble in many fields while intensively perusing a select few niches. Nonetheless, because of my involvement in many aspects of the web and society I am able to honestly say to many of you that I truly have walked in your shoes, or can at least empathize in most cases. I have attempted many ventures, and have often failed or enjoyed only limited success in many undertakings. However, that said I have also excelled in many areas from a young age and have enjoyed a fair share of success.
Although, I do however have a tendency to be a little idealist at times; I Nonetheless, I will strive to be very pragmatic in my recommendations here, while maintaining my ideals chiefly in the moral realm. Therefore, my priories will always be God, people, and then business. God is always first and people should never be sacrificed for the sake of business. Essentially, I believe you should treat everyone not as simply a mere means to an ends or achieving you goals, but as an ends or a person who is worthy of your consideration and time. This means that you must first cultivate a genuine relationship that is more than just something artificial in order to make a sale or whatnot. This does not mean it has to be a deep relationship, but it should be at least an honest and up front interaction. At its most basic level this is the golden rule of treating people as you would like to be treated. On the web in this digital age this can certainly be harder than ever, because it is often all to easy to forget that your web traffic represents real people (web crawler and spam bots aside) who should be thought in terms of real people, and not simply in terms of mere numbers or statistics. If you remember that these are real people you are then half way there, you then just have to figure out how to provide something of value to the people while asking for a reasonable value in return.
